Well, my first time carnaval, Caribbean style. The first day I had about 300 pictures (battery gave up after that), the second day around 450 (memory cards were stuffed). A small selection I found fit for my blog, so here goes !

All pictures were made with available light. Overday the light here is pretty much killing (had the backlightside during the parade ;P ) during the night it was again killing due to all the different combinations of lights used (whitebalans was almost impossible to get right, so I thought I just leave it like this).

Went with a friend to the parade in Heerlen to take some nice peopleshots. Carnaval really rocks bigtime with all the colorful people and weird costumes. Had a nice set after a few days, with a few really sweet pictures (well according to me they are really sweet ). With a bit of luck, I think the first two pictures are real good moments.
