Denmark was also a sweet place for macro’s. The most intereseting insect I saw there was the robber fly. There were hords of them hanging around there. A real impressive sight is when they hunt for other insects, catching flies and butterflies midair.
My luck was that they seemed very fond of the wooden pikes from a fence. At almost every pike you could find one of these buggers, so lots of opportunities to get some decent macroshots. A reflectionscreen helped me to deal with the harsh light there was (most were made midday).
